The Topcon CT-80 Non-Contact Computerized Tonometer makes intraocular pressure readings easier and more comfortable than ever before.
With the aid of a new alignment bar and an improved air cylinder, the interval time between measurements has been reduced by over 30%, enabling the practitioner to see more patients on a daily basis.
The CT-80 also features a triple patient safety function with an adjustable safety stopper set by the operator, a too-close display to guide alignment, and a warning buzzer to inform the operator if the cornea and the instrument are too close.
To provide more accurate readings, the CT-80 takes advantage of Topcon s innovative dual sensor system. This calculating system produces accurate measurement data without the influence of atmospheric pressure, altitude or any possible mechanical degradation.
Once all measurements have been taken, a hard copy may be printed out with the touch of a button. Up to three individual measurements plus an averaged value for each eye can be printed.
Additional benefits include an internal fixation target, and alignment via infrared illumination for increased patient comfort.
